Daily Responsibilities:

  1. Champion Health & Safety initiatives, promoting our Zero Harm safety culture as a top priority.
  2. Support our commitment to Inclusion & Diversity, ensuring all colleagues feel comfortable expressing their authentic selves.
  3. Lead project-focused teams in delivering a variety of contaminated sites projects, managing client engagements including project scoping, budget oversight, planning, scheduling, and resource coordination.
  4. Utilize your strong interpersonal skills to empower colleagues and nurture client relationships.
  5. Conduct fieldwork as necessary, including soil, groundwater, vapor, surface water, and sediment investigations, as well as overseeing site remediation efforts.
  6. Prepare high-quality deliverables, ensuring accurate data collection, compilation, interpretation, and reporting for environmental site assessments and monitoring.
  7. Collaborate with colleagues from diverse disciplines to achieve personal and project objectives.
  8. Participate in proposal development, including work plans, schedules, and cost estimates for senior review.

Qualifications:

  1. A positive, enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to learn and share knowledge.
  2. Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of innovative thinking.
  3. A bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geoscience, Biology, or a related field.
  4. A relevant professional designation such as P.Eng., P.Geo., P.Ag., P.Chem., or R.P.Bio., or the ability to obtain one shortly.
  5. A minimum of six years of experience in environmental consulting.
  6. A solid understanding of contaminated sites investigation methodologies and applicable legislation.
  7. A readiness to learn new software, methodologies, and field techniques.
  8. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  9. A clean Driver's Abstract and willingness to travel as needed.
