We are currently looking for a reliable individual to join our team as a Project Coordinator. This role is crucial for managing project tasks and ensuring that our team receives the necessary support to operate efficiently. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of accuracy in task execution and possess the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Project Management team throughout all project phases.
  • Facilitate project initiation, including budget development and team assembly.
  • Support monthly project reporting, invoicing, and cost estimation as required.
  • Coordinate logistical needs for the project team, including travel and equipment arrangements.
  • Manage the preparation and distribution of project deliverables.
  • Review timesheets and invoices as necessary.
  • Provide regular updates to Project Managers regarding project status (deliverables and budget) and identify potential challenges along with solutions.
  • Assist with quality assurance and quality control as needed.
  • Manage information flow internally and with other EDI branches and organizations.
  • Onboard new team members with current practices and procedures.
  • Perform various project administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Project.
  • Self-directed and proactive in approach.
  • Able to manage a significant workload and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • College diploma or University degree in environmental science or a related business field.
  • Experience in environmental consulting or a relevant industry (e.g., oil and gas, renewable energy).
  • Basic understanding of project management principles; PMP certification is a plus.
  • Familiarity with time and billing software or ERP systems.
