Project Contract Specialist

GEI Consultants Inc. is in search of a skilled Contract Administrator to provide on-demand support for our Land Development and Municipal projects division. This role involves working closely with both the Construction Management Team and the Land Development Engineering Design team. Our focus lies in delivering Municipal infrastructure solutions for a diverse range of clients, both private and public.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct field and site meetings related to Municipal infrastructure projects, including essential Contract Administration tasks.
  • Develop, coordinate, and maintain comprehensive project documentation (such as daily logs, as-built data, site directives, Payment Certificates, etc.).
  • Facilitate project activities and ensure adherence to Contract specifications and requirements.
  • Collaborate with municipal inspectors to verify compliance with local regulations.
  • Review and assess technical drawings for constructability and provide constructive feedback.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a site environment as a Site Inspector or Contract Administrator.
  • Possession of a Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Civil Engineering Technology.
  • OACETT Certification as a CET is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with standard engineering construction methodologies and practices.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Experience in managing projects and client relationships effectively.
  • Thorough understanding of technical drawings, specifications, and detailing.
  • Proficiency in MS Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Access to a vehicle and a valid Ontario Driver's License – 'G' Class.
