Key Responsibilities- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the People and Culture team, including scheduling meetings, updating internal databases, and maintaining records and systems.
- Employee Data Management: Manage employee data, including benefits enrollment, changes, and updates, ensuring accuracy and consistency in data entry and maintenance.
- Communication and Collaboration: Serve as a key contact for employees and external stakeholders, responding to queries, triaging, and escalating as necessary.
- Project Management: Assist with the day-to-day operations of the People and Culture functions, including tracking completion of projects and compliance tasks.
- Payroll Support: Provide payroll support, ensuring prompt update of employee status changes and workflow management in Dayforce.
- Talent Acquisition: Support talent acquisition, including job posting, interview scheduling, reference checks, and candidate support.
- Education and Experience: Post-secondary education in human resources, business administration, or a related field, or a minimum of two years' experience in mid-level administrative experience with an emphasis in human resources.
- Skills and Abilities: Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, project management tools, and HRIS software or databases. Experience in Dayforce, Asana, or payroll software is considered a strong asset.
- Knowledge and Integrity: Knowledge of employment labor laws, human rights, and Canadian Human Resource legislation is considered a strong asset. A high level of integrity and professionalism, working with confidential and sensitive data, is essential.
