About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned HR professional to join our team as a Director of People Operations. As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will play a critical role in shaping our company culture and driving business outcomes through strategic people planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR initiatives that align with our business strategy, including performance management, compensation benchmarking, and total rewards.
  • Build and maintain a high-performing HR team, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless execution of HR programs.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and the Finance team to drive strategic people planning initiatives, including staffing forecast and headcount planning.
  • Champion and operationalize our core values, building a positive and inclusive company culture that fosters employee engagement and retention.
  • Develop and optimize HR metrics, proposing strategies to improve workforce management and drive business outcomes.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in senior manager roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian and US employment law and best practices.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, including proficiency in Google Sheets and Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience working in a remote-first environment.
  • Previous experience with M&A and post-merger integrations is an asset.
