The Business Continuity team is responsible for establishing and upholding the standards and frameworks for Operational Resilience, Business Continuity Management (BCM), and Crisis Management (CM) to enhance the business's return on investment while ensuring client trust is consistently maintained.

This role reports directly to the Senior Associate Director of Business Continuity Management and will work closely across the organization to elevate the maturity of the current scenario testing program, enabling the firm to continuously evaluate risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.

Moreover, the candidate will collaborate with the existing Crisis Management function to support crisis teams during real-world events and their exercises, as well as provide training and apply insights gained through scenario identification and execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the Location Emergency Management Team (EMT) manual and business continuity strategies.
  • Foster a risk-aware culture surrounding resilience, continuity, and crisis management.
  • Oversee the execution of all Operational Resilience and Business Continuity testing requirements.
  • Establish and maintain a scenario library aligned with identified risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Create an annual schedule for all Operational Resilience and Business Continuity testing activities.
  • Coordinate all pre-testing activities, including documentation, testing plans, and logistical needs with relevant stakeholders.
  • Facilitate all testing activities, including leading exercises when necessary.
  • Act as the central point of contact for all Operational Resilience testing requirements, coordinating across related testing activities.
  • Monitor the resolution of gaps and action plans identified from all operational resilience and business continuity tests.
  • Develop and maintain training materials for BCM and Operational Resilience for all employees and coordinators.
  • Create and update user guides for BCM tools and systems.
  • Collaborate with problem management teams to implement permanent solutions based on root cause analysis.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties as required.

Essential Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements for risk management and BCP.
  • Strong understanding of Business Continuity, Crisis Management, IT Disaster Recovery, and IT Service Management.
  • Familiarity with the fund administration sector.
  • Hands-on experience with risk assessment techniques, business impact analysis, BCP planning, and testing within financial services.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and experience with new systems onboarding are preferred.
  • Strong IT capabilities, particularly with Microsoft Office products.
