MUFG Investor Services, a segment of the Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, collaborates with numerous global investment firms to deliver comprehensive administration, asset services, banking, and fund financing solutions.
The Business Continuity team is responsible for establishing and upholding MUFG Investor Services' standards and frameworks for Operational Resilience, Business Continuity Management (BCM), and Crisis Management (CM).
This position reports directly to the Senior Associate Director of Business Continuity Management and will work closely across various departments to enhance the current scenario testing program and oversee the complete processes for scenario testing.
Moreover, the selected candidate will collaborate with the Crisis Management team to assist during real-world events and provide training based on scenario execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain the Location Emergency Management Team (EMT) manual and business continuity strategies.
- Foster a risk-aware culture surrounding resilience, continuity, and crisis management.
- Oversee the execution of all Operational Resilience and Business Continuity testing obligations.
- Create and maintain a scenario library aligned with identified risks and horizon scanning insights.
- Establish an annual testing calendar for all Operational Resilience and Business Continuity testing obligations.
- Coordinate all pre-testing preparations, including documentation, testing strategies, and logistical needs.
- Lead all testing activities and facilitate testing exercises as necessary.
- Serve as the primary contact for all Operational Resilience testing support coordination.
- Monitor the resolution of gaps and action plans identified from testing.
- Develop and maintain training materials for BCM and Operational Resilience for all personnel.
- Create and maintain user manuals for BCM tools and systems.
- Collaborate with problem management teams to drive permanent solutions based on identified root causes.
- Perform any other ad-hoc responsibilities as required.
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Understanding of regulatory standards for risk management and BCP.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Business Continuity, Crisis Management, IT Disaster Recovery, and IT Service Management.
- Familiarity with the fund administration sector.
- Practical knowledge of risk assessment methodologies, business impact analysis, BCP planning, and testing.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong IT capabilities with expertise in Microsoft Office products.
