The Business Continuity team is responsible for establishing and upholding the standards and frameworks for Operational Resilience, Business Continuity Management (BCM), and Crisis Management (CM) to optimize the business's return on investment while ensuring unwavering client confidence.

This role reports directly to the Senior Associate Director of Business Continuity Management and will work collaboratively across the organization to enhance the maturity of the existing scenario testing program, enabling the firm to continuously evaluate risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.

Moreover, the candidate will collaborate with the Crisis Management function to support crisis teams during real-world events and exercises, as well as provide training and apply insights gained from scenario identification and execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the Location Emergency Management Team (EMT) manual and business continuity plans.
  • Foster a risk-aware culture surrounding resilience, continuity, and crisis management.
  • Oversee the delivery of all Operational Resilience and Business Continuity testing requirements.
  • Establish and maintain a scenario library aligned with identified risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Create an annual testing schedule encompassing all Operational Resilience and Business Continuity testing needs.
  • Coordinate all pre-testing activities, including documentation, testing plans, and logistical requirements.
  • Facilitate all testing activities, leading exercises as necessary.
  • Act as the central point of contact for all Operational Resilience testing support across related activities.
  • Monitor the closure of gaps and action plans identified from operational resilience and business continuity tests.
  • Develop and maintain training materials for BCM and Operational Resilience for all employees and coordinators.
  • Create user guides for BCM tools and systems.
  • Collaborate with problem management teams to drive permanent resolutions based on root cause analysis.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements for risk management and BCP.
  • Strong understanding of Business Continuity, Crisis Management, IT Disaster Recovery, and IT Service Management.
  • Familiarity with the fund administration business.
  • Hands-on experience with risk assessment techniques, business impact analysis, BCP planning, and testing within financial services.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and experience with onboarding new systems or technology.
  • Robust IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office products.
