About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Security Professional to join our team at Paladin Security. As a Healthcare Security Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of patients, staff, and visitors at our healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide access control and monitor restricted areas to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Respond to incidents and emergencies, including alarm activations and emergency calls for assistance.
  • Conduct regular patrols to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
  • Investigate and report any irregularities or security breaches.
  • Monitor patient safety and document incidents as required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid AB Security license or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
  • Physical ability to perform duties, including walking up to 20km/shift and pushing/pulling 30-pound doors.
