About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Security Professional to join our Healthcare Division at Paladin Security. As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors at our healthcare facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide access control and monitor restricted areas to ensure the security and confidentiality of patient information.
- Respond to incidents and emergencies, including alarms and emergency calls for assistance.
- Conduct regular patrols to identify and mitigate potential security risks, such as unlocked doors or hazardous materials.
- Investigate and report any irregularities or security breaches.
- Monitor patient safety and document incidents as required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid AB Security license or willingness to obtain one prior to commencing work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to de-escalate conflicts and provide empathetic support.
- Ability to work a 4 on, 4 off rotation, alternating between days and nights, with open availability and no restrictions.
