About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Security Officer to join our team at Paladin Security. As a key member of our healthcare division, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of patients, staff, and visitors in our healthcare facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide access control and monitor restricted areas of the facility.
- Respond to incidents and emergencies, including alarm activations and emergency calls for assistance.
- Conduct regular patrols to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
- Investigate and report any irregularities or security breaches.
- Monitor patient safety and document incidents as required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid AB Security license or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
- Physical ability to perform duties, including walking up to 20km/shift and pushing/pulling 30-pound doors.
