Position Overview

We are seeking a meticulous Accounts Receivable Supervisor to oversee a segment of our Accounting division, emphasizing safety, ongoing enhancement, relationship development, effective communication, strategic insight, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote a "safety-first" ethos through training, awareness, and accountability.
  • Exhibit a strong accounting perspective along with exceptional leadership capabilities.
  • Act as a company representative regarding regulatory matters and execute supervisory duties in alignment with company policies and relevant laws.
  • Supervise accounting personnel, focusing on accounts receivable and credit management.
  • Ensure the precision of accounts receivable subledger and invoicing processes.
  • Guarantee accurate reporting and control mechanisms concerning Installation revenue and expenses.
  • Establish and uphold internal control protocols.
  • Engage in inventory count assessments to identify necessary corrective actions related to invoicing.
  • Maintain general ledger and subsidiary ledgers by creating, verifying, and posting standard and adjusting journal entries.
  • Review, authorize, and potentially prepare monthly reconciliations and year-end audit/tax schedules.
  • Develop and support processes to ensure general ledger records are readily accessible and suitable for tax department and audits.
  • Collaborate with Tax partners to ascertain appropriate tax treatment of transactions.
  • Design, monitor, and evaluate internal controls.
  • Work alongside Operations teams to maintain proper accounting and internal controls across the organization.
  • Assist in monitoring and analyzing the financial performance of the business and contribute to the budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Provide backup support to other Accounting Supervisors or staff as needed.
  • Participate in training and team activities to foster continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with accounting team members to uphold the financial health of the company.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to adapt and perform effectively in a dynamic work environment.
  • Three to five years of accounting experience.
