This position, also known internally as a Sales Support Associate, is crucial for delivering an exceptional customer experience that directly impacts the store's sales and profitability. You will prioritize customer engagement, provide assistance, and share your expertise in fashion and products. Your efforts will help create a shopping environment that is welcoming and efficient through effective store operations and meticulous garment care. By collaborating with your colleagues, you will contribute to building a cohesive team that meets and exceeds customer expectations. This role adheres to H&M's standards, policies, procedures, and legal obligations.
Daily Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and engage customers in service areas and on the sales floor to ensure an outstanding shopping experience.
- Maintain a tidy and organized sales floor, ensuring garments are folded, hung, displayed, and merchandised according to H&M guidelines to enhance sales opportunities.
- Assist in unloading delivery trucks, receiving, unpacking merchandise, and tagging items with security labels efficiently.
- Proactively process, stock, and replenish merchandise on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
- Operate the cash register, manage transactions, issue receipts, and package merchandise appropriately following best practices.
- Enthusiastically promote and educate customers about the H&M Loyalty program.
- Share your knowledge and skills with team members, providing assistance as needed to foster a positive work atmosphere.
- Comply with H&M standards and local regulations regarding health, safety, and security to ensure the safety of yourself, your colleagues, and customers.
- Follow all procedures related to safety, security, and administrative tasks throughout the store.
Candidate Profile

- Capable of multitasking in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

- A collaborative team player with a flexible mindset.
- Physically able to lift items over 20 pounds.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods, bending, stretching, and engaging in repetitive motions.
- Able to climb ladders and use step stools as necessary.
- Willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
