Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Supervisor to lead our Receivable and Collections team. As a key member of our Accounting department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting and transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage a team of Accounting staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of tasks and projects.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of our accounts receivable and credit processes, including the maintenance of accurate records and reports.
  • Develop and implement internal controls to ensure the security and compliance of our financial data.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of our financial processes and systems.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors to ensure timely and accurate payment and delivery of goods and services.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and standards, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Proficiency in financial software, including JD Edwards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
