About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Law Clerk to join our team at TAG HR. As a Senior Law Clerk, you will provide critical support to our busy personal injury practice, managing files from initiation to settlement/decision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to our personal injury team, ensuring seamless case management and timely completion of tasks
  • Draft and prepare legal documents, including statements of claim, motions, affidavits, and correspondence
  • Organize and maintain accurate and up-to-date files and documentation using CLIO
  • Provide training and oversight to junior clerks, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles
  • Assist with trial preparation and support, including coordinating with external parties and ensuring all necessary documents are in order
  • Handle accident benefits files, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and procedures
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a Law Clerk, with a strong focus on personal injury and litigation
  • 3+ years of experience working with personal injury cases, with a deep understanding of the Rules of Civil Procedure
  • Proficiency in CLIO and solid technical skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes
  • In-depth knowledge of the Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule (SABS) and relevant regulations
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to handle a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
