About the Role

At TAG HR, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Personal Injury Law Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our litigation support team, you'll play a critical role in managing files from initiation to settlement/decision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to our busy personal injury practice, ensuring seamless case management and timely resolution.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including statements of claim, motions, affidavits, and correspondence.
  • Organize and maintain files and documentation using CLIO, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Train and oversee junior clerks, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Assist with trial preparation and support, ensuring a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Handle accident benefits files, providing expert support to our clients.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Law Clerk, with a strong focus on Personal Injury and Litigation.
  • 3+ years working with Personal Injury cases, with a deep understanding of the Rules of Civil Procedure.
  • Proficiency in CLIO and solid technical skills, with the ability to learn and adapt quickly.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule (SABS), with a strong understanding of its implications.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to handle a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
