About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Personal Injury Law Clerk to join our team at TAG HR. As a key member of our litigation team, you will provide critical support to our busy personal injury practice, managing files from initiation to settlement or decision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert support to our personal injury lawyers, managing files and documentation with precision and attention to detail.
  • Draft high-quality legal documents, including statements of claim, motions, affidavits, and correspondence.
  • Organize and maintain accurate and up-to-date files and documentation using our case management system.
  • Provide training and oversight to junior clerks, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Assist with trial preparation and support, including coordinating with lawyers and other stakeholders.
  • Handle accident benefits files, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Law Clerk, with a strong focus on personal injury cases.
  • 3+ years of experience working with CLIO and other case management systems.
  • Excellent organizational and technical skills, with the ability to handle a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of the Rules of Civil Procedure and the Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule (SABS).
