Role Overview

Reporting directly to the President & CEO, the Clinical Director will play a pivotal role in the establishment of a new clinic. This position entails overseeing clinic operations and staff management, consulting with patients, and preparing regular performance reports for the new facility. The Clinical Director will be recognized for their outstanding interpersonal skills in interactions with both staff and patients. Additionally, the Director will be instrumental in advising on the enhancement of the business model, including overseeing profit and loss responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to:

  • Facilitate the launch of a new clinic location
  • Oversee daily clinic operations and supervise a small team
  • Conduct weekly and monthly health marketing seminars for patients
  • Evaluate and interpret laboratory results, health questionnaires, and lifestyle factors affecting patient health
  • Communicate test results and their implications to patients during consultations and follow-ups
  • Develop tailored nutritional interventions and proactive health plans in accordance with company protocols
  • Collaborate with pharmacists or physicians on pharmaceutical matters related to clients
  • Work closely with the compounding and laboratory managers to enhance patient care
  • Report on clinic operations to ownership and prepare sales reports regularly
  • Stay informed on advancements in nutrition and health, with occasional travel for professional development
  • Ensure all responsibilities align with the company’s policies, operational standards, and ethical values

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess the capability to manage, develop, and mentor the clinical team while meeting targets effectively. Essential qualifications include:

  • B.Sc. in a health-related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of clinical or relevant experience
  • Ability to inspire and support patients in achieving their health goals
  • Proficiency in analyzing patient data
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in collaborating with healthcare team members
  • Commitment to patient care and building strong client relationships
  • Experience in applying evidence-based research in practice
  • Personal dedication to health, wellness, and orthomolecular medicine
  • Empathy, patience, and compassion in client interactions
  • Interest in clinical nutrition research and emerging trends
  • Strong business acumen and self-motivation
  • Experience managing profit and loss responsibilities
  • Critical thinking and effective problem-solving skills
