Role Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the President & CEO, the Clinical Laboratory Director will play a pivotal role in launching a new clinic. This position entails overseeing clinic operations and staff management, engaging with patients, and generating regular performance reports for the new facility. The Director will be recognized for their outstanding interpersonal abilities in interactions with both staff and patients. Additionally, the Clinical Director will be instrumental in refining the business model, including managing financial responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Establishing a new clinic location
  • Overseeing daily clinic operations and supervising a small team
  • Conducting health marketing seminars for patients on a weekly/monthly basis
  • Evaluating and interpreting laboratory results, health questionnaires, and lifestyle factors affecting patient health
  • Communicating test results and their implications to patients during consultations and follow-ups
  • Formulating tailored nutritional interventions and proactive health plans in accordance with company protocols
  • Collaborating with pharmacists or physicians on pharmaceutical matters related to each patient
  • Consulting with laboratory and compounding managers to enhance patient care
  • Reporting on clinic operations and preparing sales reports for ownership
  • Staying updated on advancements in nutrition and health, with potential travel to relevant conferences
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, operational standards, and ethical practices

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, with a focus on developing and mentoring the clinical team while achieving targets efficiently. Essential qualifications include:

  • B.Sc. in a health-related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of clinical or relevant experience
  • Ability to motivate and support patients in achieving their health goals
  • Competence in analyzing patient data
  • Proven track record of effective collaboration with healthcare teams
  • Commitment to patient care and the ability to build strong client relationships
  • Experience in applying evidence-based research in practice
  • Personal dedication to health, wellness, and orthomolecular medicine
  • Empathy, patience, and compassion in dealing with diverse clients
  • Interest in clinical nutrition research and trends
  • Strong business acumen and initiative
  • Experience managing financial responsibilities
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Professionalism and sound judgment
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Willingness to work beyond standard hours when necessary
  • Commitment to high standards of customer service
