About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transportation Supervisor to join our team at The North Transportation. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating activities with other work units or departments, preparing and submitting reports, and arranging for maintenance and repair work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co-ordination and Planning: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Arrange for maintenance and repair work to be performed on company vehicles and equipment.
  • Problem-Solving and Technical Advice: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Staff Management: Recruit and hire staff, arrange training for staff, conduct performance reviews, and co-ordinate, assign, and review work.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies, and organize and maintain inventory.
  • Work Scheduling and Procedures: Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operations.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a work term of 30 hours per week. The work language is English, and you will be working with a team of 3-4 people.
