Store Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to join our team at Days Inn Liquor Store. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading our retail operations and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Staff Management: Manage and supervise a team of 5-10 staff members, ensuring they have the necessary training and resources to excel in their roles.
- Merchandise Management: Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale, ensuring that our store remains competitive and attractive to customers.
- Marketing Strategies: Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
- Financial Management: Plan and manage budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and make informed decisions to optimize profitability.
- Staffing and Recruitment: Determine staffing requirements, recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers to ensure a high-performing team.
- Operational Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure seamless store performance.
- Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a retail management role.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in word processing software, inventory control software, and electronic mail.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to handle heavy loads, maintain attention to detail, and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking environments.
- Personal Suitability: Goal-oriented, positive attitude, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, and team player.
- Work Schedule: 35 to 40 hours per week.
- Language of Work: English.
- Employment Type: Permanent.
