GENERAL FUNCTION

The Sales Representative is tasked with meeting sales objectives and fostering growth through regular customer engagements, ensuring optimal service delivery while maximizing their call cycle based on customer profiles and the Luxottica Loyalty Rewards program. The role involves executing brand strategies while upholding established standards for distribution, training, productivity, and merchandising.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Attains monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, including average unit price, distribution, and door productivity for each brand collection managed. Develops and follows an effective call plan to achieve desired service frequency, aiming for regular customer visits within a 4-12 week rotation or less, prioritizing Diamond, Platinum, Gold, and Silver accounts. Conducts regular customer visits to ensure brand visual merchandising, updating POP materials and board space to reflect brand positioning and enhance product sell-through. Logs customer visits in One Sales Suite. Utilizes reports, training materials, samples, and technology to effectively manage customer relationships and boost sales performance. Proactively oversees distribution within their territory in alignment with brand guidelines. Fosters strong working relationships at all levels within the practices and businesses managed. Employs all brand materials to conduct regular customer training sessions, reinforcing knowledge and ensuring consistent messaging to end-patients/consumers. Stays informed on trends impacting the business. Cultivates the existing customer base through regular visits while continuously seeking new opportunities in the market. Collaborates with sales counterparts across brand divisions and Essilor to deliver comprehensive synergy programs. Represents Luxottica at local, regional, and national trade shows. Develops a robust business plan leveraging the Luxottica Rewards program, tools, and resources to demonstrate ROI and drive sales growth. Submits weekly, monthly, and quarterly metrics to leadership to further develop and support growth strategies. Participates in mandatory corporate training sessions, conference calls, team meetings, and district appointments. Organizes and conducts trunk shows and other patient/consumer events in top practices to raise brand awareness and stimulate sales.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of 2 years of direct sales experience with a proven track record of success. Ability to carry sample bags weighing at least 25 lbs. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated sales performance and capacity to increase revenues. Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship-building abilities. Proficient training and presentation skills. Solid background in visual merchandising. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate challenges and propose solutions. Proficient in PC applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Significant field time required, with potential overnight travel based on geography (up to 100% travel). Valid driver's license and eligibility to work in the US. Capability to utilize a personal vehicle for work-related travel on a daily basis.
