GENERAL FUNCTION

The Sales Representative is tasked with meeting sales objectives and fostering growth through regular customer engagement, providing exceptional service, and optimizing their call cycle based on customer profiles and the Luxottica Loyalty Rewards program. The individual is responsible for implementing brand strategies while upholding established standards for distribution, training, productivity, and merchandising.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Achieves monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, average unit price, distribution, and door productivity goals for each brand collection. Develops and follows an effective call plan to ensure desired service frequency of customer visits, aiming for regular engagement within a 4-12 week rotation or less (prioritizing Diamond, Platinum, Gold, and Silver customers). Conducts regular customer visits to ensure brand visual merchandising is maintained, refreshing point-of-purchase materials and board space to align with brand positioning and support product sell-through. Logs visits in One Sales Suite. Utilizes reports, training materials, samples, and technology to effectively manage customer relationships and enhance sales performance. Proactively oversees distribution within their territory according to brand guidelines. Cultivates strong working relationships at all levels within the practices and businesses managed. Leverages brand materials to conduct regular customer training sessions, reinforcing knowledge and ensuring consistent messaging to end-patients/consumers. Stays informed on trends impacting the business. Nurtures existing customer relationships through regular visits while continuously seeking new opportunities in the market. Collaborates with sales counterparts (e.g., other brand divisions, Essilor, etc.) to deliver broader synergy programs. Represents Luxottica at local, regional, and national trade shows. Develops a robust business plan utilizing the Luxottica Rewards program, tools, and resources to demonstrate ROI and drive sales growth. Submits weekly, monthly, and quarterly metrics to leadership to support growth strategies. Participates in required corporate training sessions, conference calls, team meetings, and appointments within the district. Organizes and conducts trunk shows and other patient/consumer events in top practices to raise brand awareness and drive sales.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of 2 years of direct sales experience with a proven track record of success. Ability to carry sample bags weighing at least 25 lbs. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated sales performance and capability to increase revenues. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships. Outstanding training and presentation abilities. Solid background in visual merchandising. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate challenges while proposing solutions. Proficient in PC applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Significant field time required, with potential overnight travel depending on geography (up to 100% travel). Valid driver's license and eligibility to work in the US. Capability to use a personal vehicle for work-related travel on a daily basis.
