GENERAL FUNCTION
The Sales Representative is tasked with meeting sales objectives and driving growth through regular customer engagements, ensuring optimal service delivery while adhering to the Luxottica Loyalty Rewards program. This role involves executing brand strategies while upholding established standards for distribution, training, productivity, and merchandising.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Attains monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals, average unit price, distribution, and door productivity targets for each brand collection. Formulates and follows an effective call plan to ensure desired service frequency of customer visits, aiming for a regular rotation of all customers within a 4-12 week timeframe. Conducts regular customer visits to maintain brand visual merchandising, ensuring that promotional materials are refreshed and aligned with brand positioning to support product sales. Records visits in One Sales Suite. Leverages reports, training, samples, and tools to effectively manage customer relationships and enhance sales performance. Proactively oversees distribution within their territory in accordance with brand guidelines. Fosters strong relationships at all levels within the practices and businesses managed. Utilizes brand materials to conduct regular training sessions for customers, reinforcing knowledge and ensuring consistent messaging to end-patients/consumers. Stays informed on trends impacting the business. Cultivates existing customer relationships through regular visits while actively seeking new market opportunities. Collaborates with sales counterparts across various brand divisions to implement broader synergy initiatives. Represents Luxottica at local, regional, and national trade shows. Develops a comprehensive business plan utilizing the Luxottica Rewards program, tools, and resources to demonstrate ROI and drive sales growth. Submits metrics to leadership on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis to support growth strategies. Participates in mandatory corporate training sessions, conference calls, team meetings, and district appointments. Organizes and conducts trunk shows and other consumer events in top practices to enhance brand awareness and drive sales.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 2 years of direct sales experience with a proven track record of success. Ability to carry sample bags weighing at least 25 lbs. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated sales performance and capacity to increase revenues. Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship-building abilities. Proficient training and presentation skills. Solid background in visual merchandising. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate challenges and propose solutions. Proficient in PC applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Significant field time required, with potential overnight travel based on geography (up to 100% travel). Valid driver's license and eligibility to work in the US. Capability to use a personal vehicle for work-related travel on a daily basis.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
BA/BS degree.
