About the Position

At H&M, as a Retail Sales Specialist, you will play a crucial role in guiding our customers and helping them express their personal style. This position, also known internally as a Sales Advisor, is essential for delivering an exceptional Customer Experience that directly impacts the store's sales and profitability. Your primary focus will be on prioritizing customer needs, providing assistance, and sharing your expertise in Products and Fashion. You will foster an inviting shopping atmosphere through effective Store Operations and meticulous Garment Care. By collaborating and sharing your knowledge with team members, you will contribute to building a cohesive team that meets our customers' expectations. This role operates in alignment with H&M's standards, policies, procedures, and legal obligations.

You will report to our Department Managers and have a dotted line to the Department Supervisor.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Proactively greet and engage with customers in service areas and on the sales floor to ensure a top-notch customer experience.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized sales floor to enhance the shopping experience, including folding, hanging, displaying, and merchandising products according to H&M guidelines to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Unload delivery trucks, receive, open, and unpack merchandise, and label items with security tags within established efficiency timelines.
  • Actively process, stock, and replenish products on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
  • Operate the register, manage all required transactions, issue receipts, and package merchandise appropriately following best practices.
  • Enthusiastically promote our H&M Loyalty program to customers.
  • Share your expertise and assist colleagues, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Adhere to H&M standards and local regulations regarding health & safety and security protocols to ensure the safety of yourself, your colleagues, and customers at all times.
  • Follow all procedures related to safety, security, and administrative processes throughout the store.
