Position Overview

As a Corporate Sales Executive, you will be under the guidance of the Regional Sales Manager. We seek individuals who are high achievers, process-driven, and adept at creating value. You will benefit from robust support through our Sales Development Representatives, Solutions Consultants, Marketing Partnerships, Alliances Team, Product Team, and, most importantly, strong leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement field sales initiatives to generate demand.
  • Identify, cultivate, and close opportunities for the Tipalti Platform with key clients.
  • Engage with various C-suite executives and stakeholders throughout the sales cycle.
  • Maintain a pipeline of at least 20+ opportunities consistently.
  • Develop an account penetration strategy that facilitates multi-faceted access to key accounts, often involving 8+ decision-makers.
  • Create and execute an Account Plan for targeted strategic accounts, driving its successful implementation.
  • Craft and present exceptional proposals to C-level prospects.
  • Coordinate with client and internal teams to collaboratively develop Joint Vision Roadmaps that outline the value Tipalti will provide and the necessary client investments.
  • Most importantly, surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Professional Experience: At least 4+ years of direct sales experience in the software sector (SaaS solutions).
  • Industry Exposure: Experience in a SaaS B2B technology organization.
  • Skills and Competencies:
    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
    • Proficient in engaging with all organizational levels (both bottom-up and top-down).
    • Expertise in managing a substantial sales pipeline with a consistent closing ability.
    • Focused on delivering business value to Finance and Business stakeholders through ROI and TCO models, rather than competing solely on features.
    • Ability to identify client challenges and formulate unique, compelling value propositions that emphasize business value.
    • Characteristics: Assertive, Passionate, Persuasive, Positive, Consultative, competitive, and driven to succeed.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Role Details

  • Travel Requirements: Moderate to significant overnight travel (approximately 25%+/- expected).
  • Work Schedule: Standard business hours within the relevant geographic location and time zone.
  • Flexibility to coordinate schedules across time zones with internal teams and external clients is essential.
  • This position operates in a hybrid model, requiring in-office presence on designated days.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Position involves being onsite three days per week.
    • Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a workstation.
    • Extended use of computers and telephones.
    • Ability to hear, comprehend, and differentiate speech and other sounds.
    • Visual acuity for close-range tasks.
