The Corporate Sales Team

Account Executives at Okta are dedicated to assisting prospects and clients in modernizing their IT frameworks, enhancing customer experiences, and mitigating security risks by aligning our solutions with their specific needs. By comprehending the unique challenges faced by both prospects and clients, you will facilitate their achievement of favorable business outcomes through our offerings. You will nurture strong relationships with clients and key partners while staying informed about Okta's advancing technology. In this fast-paced role, you can expect to manage deals from inception to completion in collaboration with account teams, sales engineers, professional services, and partners.

The Senior Corporate Account Executive Role

Reporting to the Area Sales Director, Corporate Sales, Okta's Corporate Account Executives oversee the sales processes for medium-sized enterprise clients (700-1,250 employees). The ideal candidate will thrive in acquiring new clients while simultaneously managing and expanding a portfolio of existing customers. Our Account Executives conduct sales presentations, site visits, and product demonstrations to prospects, representing Okta in a consistent, effective, and professional manner to successfully attract and secure new clients.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the sales process for medium-sized new logo clients from demonstration to contract negotiation Foster growth within existing Okta clients by establishing long-term strategic relationships with key accounts Develop and implement a strategy to meet assigned quotas and territory plans Prospect, forecast, and maintain a robust sales pipeline with designated Sales Development Representatives Present to C-level executives both in-person and through web demonstrations Collaborate with ISVs and strategic partners to generate revenue for Okta

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in sales and account management within a SaaS/Cloud B2B environment Proven success in selling to mid-sized and/or enterprise clients within a designated territory Experience with ISVs or Channel partnerships is highly preferred IT/Security sales experience is strongly preferred Willingness to travel up to 25% A BS/BA degree is preferred Must be able to travel for client meetings, events, and team gatherings Fluency in both French and English is required
