Hotel Operations Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Managing Supervisor to join our team at Harbourview Inn & Suites. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and leading a team of staff to achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the work of 3-4 team members to ensure seamless hotel operations.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Guest Services
- Ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained.
- Respond promptly to guest complaints and concerns, resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Operations and Administration
- Oversee the management of hotel supplies, inventory, and equipment.
- Monitor and control hotel expenses, ensuring that they are within budget.
- Training and Development
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff knowledge and skills.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to staff to help them achieve their career goals.
- Community Engagement
- Develop and implement programs to support newcomers, refugees, and visible minorities.
- Collaborate with local organizations to promote diversity and inclusion in the community.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
- Experience in hotel management or a related field is an asset.
- Skills
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
As a Hotel Managing Supervisor at Harbourview Inn & Suites, you will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
