Position Overview:

The Department of Medical Imaging is seeking a qualified radiologist specializing in Thoracic Imaging. This role is pivotal in providing comprehensive imaging services and education within a leading medical institution.

Our department is part of a prestigious healthcare facility affiliated with a renowned university, offering a collaborative environment with over 50 subspecialty radiologists. The institution is recognized for its significant contributions to cancer care and cardiac health, supported by advanced imaging technology.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct imaging across various modalities including CXR, CT, and MRI.
  • Lead educational rounds for residents and fellows, focusing on respiratory and thoracic tumor cases.
  • Engage in teaching medical students and participate in the on-call rotation.
  • Contribute to research initiatives with dedicated academic time.

Candidate Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess an MD or equivalent degree, along with a Fellowship in Diagnostic Imaging from a recognized body. Eligibility for medical licensure in Ontario is required, along with experience in reporting thoracic imaging studies.

Academic Engagement:

As a member of the teaching faculty, the successful applicant will play a crucial role in the Residency and Fellowship Programs, demonstrating a commitment to education and patient care.

Compensation:

Salary and academic rank will be aligned with the candidate's qualifications and experience, with a compensation model reflecting the fee-for-service structure.
