Position Overview:
The Department of Medical Imaging is seeking a qualified radiologist specializing in Thoracic Imaging. This role is integral to our clinical and educational missions.

Institutional Background:
Our facility is a premier teaching hospital affiliated with a leading university, renowned for its comprehensive medical services and advanced imaging technologies. We are home to a diverse team of over 50 specialized radiologists.

Clinical Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will engage in a wide range of thoracic imaging practices, including but not limited to:
1. Conducting imaging studies using CXR, CT, and MRI modalities.
2. Leading multidisciplinary rounds focused on respiratory and thoracic oncology.
3. Participating in resident and fellow educational sessions.

Educational Contributions:
This position involves teaching medical students, radiology residents, and cardiothoracic fellows. The candidate will also participate in an on-call rotation, contributing to the training of future professionals in the field.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- An MD or equivalent degree.
- Fellowship training in Diagnostic Imaging from a recognized institution.
- Eligibility for medical licensure.
- A minimum of one year of post-residency fellowship training in thoracic imaging or cardiothoracic imaging.

Academic Engagement:
The candidate will be expected to contribute to the academic environment, with opportunities for research and professional development. Evidence of excellence in teaching and research is essential.

Compensation:
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, with a fee-for-service compensation model.
