About the Opportunity
The Department of Medical Imaging at the University of Toronto is seeking a highly skilled radiologist to join our team in Thoracic Imaging. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for interpreting a broad spectrum of thoracic imaging modalities, including CXR, CT, and MRI.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead respiratory and thoracic tumor board rounds as well as resident and fellows teaching rounds
- Teach medical students, radiology residents, and cardiothoracic fellows
- Participate in the on-call rotation program
- Contribute to the development and implementation of imaging protocols and guidelines
Requirements
- MD or equivalent degree
- Fellowship in Diagnostic Imaging from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, American Board of Radiology, or international equivalent
- Eligibility for medical licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
- At least one year of post-residency fellowship training in thoracic imaging or cardiothoracic imaging
- Eligibility for an academic appointment at the University of Toronto at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor
