Position Overview:

The Department of Medical Imaging at the University of Toronto is seeking a qualified radiologist specializing in Thoracic Imaging. This role is pivotal in advancing clinical practice and education within the department.

Institutional Affiliation:

The successful candidate will be affiliated with Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, a leading institution known for its comprehensive medical services and research initiatives. The department boasts a collaborative environment with over 50 subspecialty radiologists.

Clinical Responsibilities:

The candidate will engage in a wide range of thoracic imaging modalities, including chest X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs. Responsibilities will include leading multidisciplinary tumor board discussions and conducting educational rounds for residents and fellows.

Teaching and Mentorship:

As part of the teaching faculty, the candidate will be responsible for instructing medical students, radiology residents, and cardiothoracic fellows. A commitment to educational excellence and mentorship is essential.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess an MD or equivalent, along with a Fellowship in Diagnostic Imaging from a recognized institution. Eligibility for medical licensure in Ontario is required, along with substantial experience in reporting thoracic imaging studies.
