Position Overview:
The Department of Medical Imaging at the University of Toronto is seeking a qualified radiologist specializing in Thoracic Imaging. This role offers an opportunity to engage in clinical practice, education, and research within a leading medical institution.

Clinical Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be involved in a wide range of thoracic imaging modalities, including but not limited to:
1. Chest X-rays (CXR)
2. Computed Tomography (CT)
3. Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

The candidate will also lead educational rounds for residents and fellows, as well as participate in multidisciplinary tumor board discussions.

Teaching and Mentorship:
This position includes teaching responsibilities for medical students, radiology residents, and cardiothoracic fellows. The candidate will play a vital role in the academic development of trainees and contribute to the residency and fellowship programs.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess:
- An MD or equivalent degree
- Fellowship in Diagnostic Imaging from a recognized institution
- Eligibility for medical licensure in Ontario
- A minimum of one year of post-residency fellowship training in thoracic imaging or cardiothoracic imaging

Evidence of excellence in teaching and research is essential for this role. The candidate must be a collaborative team player with a strong commitment to patient care and education.

Compensation:
Academic rank and salary will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications and experience, with compensation structured on a fee-for-service basis. The estimated annual income for a full-time equivalent position is competitive, with potential for increases based on experience and academic credentials.
