About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Housekeeper to join our team at Pinedale Inn. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality in our hotel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management
    • Develop and implement effective operational procedures to maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in the hotel.
    • Coordinate the inspection of assigned areas to ensure compliance with hotel standards.
  • Performance Management
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and appraisals of housekeeping staff to ensure they are meeting expectations.
  • Inventory Management
    • Oversee the maintenance of inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms to ensure they are adequate and up-to-date.
  • Staff Supervision
    • Supervise and schedule the duties of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Quality Assurance
    • Conduct regular infection control audits to ensure the hotel is meeting the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
    • Respond to guest complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Work Setting
    • Experience working in a hotel or similar environment is an asset.
  • Tasks
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
    • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Supervision
    • 1 to 2 people will report to you.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
    • Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
