The Role: Business Development Representative

As a Business Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving growth and expanding Mackenzie Investments' reach within your assigned territory. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic business plan in collaboration with the District Vice-President.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business plan to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within your designated geographic area.
  • Proactively engage with investment advisors through sales calls, building relationships and presenting Mackenzie Investments' diverse range of products and services.
  • Provide expert advice and insights to advisors, helping them navigate the evolving financial landscape and effectively serve their clients.
  • Offer ongoing support to dealers and brokers by providing market updates, fund performance analysis, and portfolio review guidance.
Qualifications:
  • Possess a university degree or equivalent industry experience.
  • Demonstrate fluency in both French and English.
  • Exhibit an entrepreneurial mindset, a strong work ethic, and a results-oriented approach.
  • Possess exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Show a genuine passion for capital markets and the investment industry.
  • Hold a recognized financial services industry designation (e.g., CSC, IFIC, CFA, CFP, CIM).
