Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 2351982 Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our restaurant operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our kitchen staff and ensuring that our food and service meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that food meets quality control standards by implementing effective quality control measures.
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to optimize inventory management.
  • Operations and Logistics
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and supplies are requisitioned in a timely manner.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize inventory.
  • Team Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of 3-4 staff members to ensure effective team performance.
    • Maintain a positive and productive work environment by promoting a culture of teamwork and open communication.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
  • Language
    • Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with 30 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
