Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
    • Hire and manage food service staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, including food handling, preparation, and presentation.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and maintain inventory levels.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates for food and supplies.
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Physical Capabilities
    • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability
    • Efficient interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent oral communication skills.
    • Flexibility and ability to work in a team environment.
Working Conditions

35 to 44 hours per week.
