About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that customers receive exceptional service and that their needs are met.
  • Inventory and Record-Keeping
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and ensure that inventory levels are maintained.
  • Reporting and Communication
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other relevant data.
    • Communicate effectively with staff, management, and other stakeholders to ensure that goals and objectives are met.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Work Setting
    • Staff accommodation available.
    • Food service establishment with various locations.
  • Physical Capabilities
    • Ability to stand for extended periods.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Suitability
    • Client focus.
    • Excellent oral communication skills.
    • Flexibility.
    • Team player.
