Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and ensure that they are ordered in a timely manner.
    • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure that food is presented in a visually appealing manner.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that customers receive exceptional service and that their needs are met.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates to ensure that food and labor costs are controlled.
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to ensure that inventory levels are accurate.
    • Prepare and submit reports to management to ensure that they are informed of key performance indicators.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Personal Suitability
    • Efficient interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
