We are a boutique law firm in downtown Burlington, specializing in Personal Injury, Employment law, Long Term Disability, and other civil litigation matters.

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Legal Assistant to join our team. As a Legal Assistant, you will be responsible for preparing undertakings, corresponding with Legal Counsel, and preparing accounts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing undertakings charts and corresponding with Legal Counsel
  • Preparing accounts and managing client files
  • Assisting with tort matters, including practice and procedures, and the Ontario Rules of Civil Procedure
  • Assisting with Accident Benefits, including SABs, LAT forms, and procedure

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Personal Injury in Ontario
  • Ability to travel to the office as needed
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
