Are you ready to take on a pivotal role as a Training and Development Specialist? Crestline is seeking a vital contributor who will play a key role in the careful design and enhancement of employee development initiatives, ensuring a seamless blend of efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and high-quality training that consistently meets rigorous deadlines.
In this role, you will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and departments, including HR, management, and operations, to align training activities with broader business goals and employee career trajectories. You will amplify your impact by promoting a culture of continuous learning and remaining at the forefront of training methodologies. Your dedication to ongoing improvement will involve utilizing various methodologies to assess and enhance training effectiveness. Beyond the responsibilities of a Training and Development Specialist, you will be an innovator, driving advancements through the integration of technology and state-of-the-art training practices, establishing new benchmarks for employee development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with and mentor managers to create and execute comprehensive training programs for all staff, encompassing onboarding, product knowledge, and professional growth.
- Engage with the organization using established processes, such as performance management, and feedback from leaders and employees to identify common training needs during annual budget planning.
- Design and implement skills development initiatives for employees and managers, ensuring the incorporation of competencies and making necessary adjustments.
- Identify essential technical training as indicated by management, oversee its implementation, and integrate it into the training framework for new hires.
- Assess the effectiveness of training programs to ensure the incorporation of competencies and make adjustments as necessary.
- Research external training programs that fulfill the organization's requirements. Reach out to training centers, trainers, or experts as identified. Evaluate service offerings and select suitable options.
- Establish and maintain a dashboard to monitor the skills and training of all employees, providing a transparent view of progress and areas for enhancement.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A Bachelor's degree in human resources, education, or a related field, with a strong focus on adult learning principles and instructional design.
- Proficiency in MS Suite and familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, crucial for conducting engaging training sessions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in training needs analysis and program evaluation.
- Experience in a manufacturing or related industry is advantageous, enhancing understanding of specific training needs in such environments.
