Job Overview

Life Benefits Inc, a People Corporation company, is a Group Insurance and Pension Broker servicing Indigenous employers across Canada. We specialize in designing programs that consider NIHB (Non-Insured Health Benefits) and create equality for status and non-status employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage an assigned block of group insurance/pension clients, including conducting employee meetings, plan administrator training, and providing information in response to inquiries about products and services.
  • Act as the liaison between the client, the insurance company, and our office, consistently delivering an exceptional client experience.
  • Utilize top-notch organizational skills to ensure timely collection and processing of paperwork.
  • Initiate and/or implement solutions as needed to ensure an excellent standard of service and a high level of client satisfaction is maintained.
  • Meet new clients and build trusting relationships, requiring some travel (including overnight trips) with a driver's license and a reliable, late-model vehicle.

Requirements

  • Background in group insurance, pension, or a related field, with an insurance background being an asset.
  • Passion for ensuring a positive client experience.
  • Ability to build relationships, enjoy variety, and make community connections.
  • Capacity to multi-task, prioritize, and work with deadlines to meet client and internal needs.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
