The Opportunity:

As a Group Benefits Sales Representative, you will play a vital role in driving new business sales by establishing and nurturing long-term relationships with broker distribution partners. Your primary focus will be on expanding our reach within the group benefits market.

Your Impact:

  • Strengthen existing relationships with brokers to identify new opportunities in group benefits.
  • Develop and cultivate new relationships with brokers and consultants, opening doors to untapped markets and generating fresh leads for group benefits products.
  • Drive growth by acquiring new clients and retaining existing ones, contributing directly to the company's success.
  • Conduct meetings with business partners to understand their needs and effectively present the benefits and features of our comprehensive group insurance solutions.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of current market trends, competitive landscape, competitor offerings, and internal sales processes for group benefits products.
  • Provide coaching and development support to partners, including organizing sales seminars and offering one-on-one guidance on business strategies, sales concepts, and revenue-generating ideas.
  • Collaborate with operational functions to develop and present compelling proposals that align with the overall business strategy.

What You Bring:

  • A proven track record of success in group insurance sales.
  • Experience within the financial services industry, specifically in a wholesale capacity.
  • A post-secondary education in a related field or one of the following designations: Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS), Group Benefits Associate (GBA), Life License Qualification Program (LLQP).
