LUMBER YARD OPERATOR

We are actively seeking a Lumber Yard Operator to join our team.
The services we provide to our customers include ensuring that our product displays are secure and accessible. We assist clients with selecting and loading their products. To deliver these services effectively, we require team members who appreciate physical labor and manual tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Adhere to all Health and Safety regulations while executing job responsibilities Load and unload customer vehicles, operate forklifts, and utilize other material handling equipment Gather materials for customer orders, assemble items, and package them suitably for collection or delivery Notify your direct supervisor of any inventory inconsistencies and damaged or defective materials that could affect customer service Maintain a clean and safe work environment by disposing of empty cartons, metal banding, pallets, and other waste Report any safety concerns within the warehouse and lumber yard to your supervisor Assist customers as required Perform additional tasks as directed by your supervisorQualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Minimum age of 21 for Forklift Training (provided) Capability to lift up to 75 lbs. Exceptional customer service and strong verbal communication abilities Capacity to develop thorough product knowledge Willingness to learn to operate a forklift and other material handling equipment safely Ability to work in various weather conditions within a fast-paced and dynamic environment Flexibility for 8-hour shifts with varying schedules High attention to detail Proficiency in reading invoices and product return documentationBenefits:
