Farm Operations Manager

Crop Defenders Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our agricultural operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our farm, ensuring the highest quality crop production and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and Implement Farm Safety and Bio-Security Procedures: Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures to ensure the well-being of our employees and the quality of our crops.
- Maintain Financial and Production Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial and production records to track our farm's performance and make informed decisions.
- Negotiate with Clients: Negotiate with clients to provide services and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Provide Agricultural Crop Services: Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, or harvesting to ensure the highest quality crops.
- Supervise Farm Workers: Supervise and coordinate the work of general farm workers and harvesting laborers to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Ensure Farm Safety: Ensure that farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed at all times.
- Maintain Quality Control: Maintain quality control and production records to ensure the highest quality crops.
- Supervise Livestock Programs: Supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs to ensure the health and well-being of our animals.
- Supervise Crop Operations: Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations to ensure the highest quality crops.
- Hire and Train Staff: Hire and train staff to ensure that our farm is well-staffed and equipped to meet our production goals.
- Operate and Maintain Farm Machinery: Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Maintain Bee Yard: Maintain the bee yard and beekeeping equipment to ensure the health and well-being of our bees.
- Health Care Plan: We offer a comprehensive health care plan to ensure the well-being of our employees.
- Permanent Work Term: This is a permanent work term with a guaranteed 40 hours of work per week.
- English Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
