About the Role

Crop Defenders Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Farm Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our farm, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement farm safety and bio-security procedures to protect our crops and employees.
  • Maintain accurate financial and production records to inform business decisions.
  • Negotiate with clients to provide exceptional agricultural services, including plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, and harvesting.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of farm workers and harvesting labourers to ensure efficient operations.
  • Ensure compliance with farm safety and bio-security procedures, maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Monitor and maintain quality control and production records to optimize crop yields and minimize waste.
  • Supervise breeding and livestock-related programs, as well as growing and crop-related operations.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure a skilled and motivated team.
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Perform general farm duties, including maintaining the bee yard and beekeeping equipment.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Health care plan provided.
  • Permanent position with 40 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
