About the Role

Crop Defenders Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our farm, ensuring the safe and efficient production of crops and livestock.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures
  • Maintain financial and production records
  • Negotiate with clients for provision of services
  • Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting
  • Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers
  • Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
  • Maintain quality control and production records
  • Supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs
  • Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations
  • Hire and train staff
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
  • Perform general farm duties
  • Maintain the bee yard and beekeeping equipment
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Health care plan
