About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at East Izakaya. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food preparation and service staff
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
    • Ensure that our food and service meet quality control standards
  • Operations Management
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient service delivery
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates for food, labor, and other operational expenses
    • Monitor and control inventory levels to minimize waste and optimize stock levels
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
    • Ensure that all customer interactions are positive and memorable
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators
    • Maintain accurate records of staff performance, customer feedback, and other relevant data
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • College or equivalent experience in a related field (e.g. hospitality, culinary arts)
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in a restaurant or food service environment
  • Skills and Qualities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
