About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Kabab & Thali Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen and ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and dishwashers.
    • Train and develop staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare and submit reports on kitchen operations, sales, and other relevant metrics.
    • Prepare food order summaries for the chef.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.
  • Work Setting
    • Restaurant environment.
  • Tasks and Responsibilities
    • Establish work schedules.
    • Supervise and check assembly of trays.
    • Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys.
  • Supervision
    • 3-4 people.
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year.
