Job Summary

THORASYS Thoracic Medical Systems Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our Human Resource Strategy, policies, programs, and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment and Onboarding: Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent, and design and deliver comprehensive onboarding programs to ensure new hires are successfully integrated into the organization.
  2. Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support to managers on employee relations matters, including performance management, conflict resolution, and employee engagement.
  3. Benefits and Compensation: Administer employment benefit programs, including RRSP and stock option plans, and develop and implement competitive compensation structures.
  4. Performance Management: Develop and implement performance management systems, including performance appraisals and development plans.
  5. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations, and identify and mitigate potential risks to the organization.
  6. HR Systems and Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and databases, and develop and implement effective HR systems and processes.

Requirements:

  1. Education: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
  2. Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a human resource management role, with a strong background in recruitment, employee relations, benefits, and compensation.
  3. Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees, managers, and external partners.
  4. Language: Bilingualism in French and English is mandatory.

Reporting Structure:

The Human Resources Manager will report to the President and CEO of THORASYS Thoracic Medical Systems Inc.
